 THE BUSH PLANE CHECK LIST

President and Designer Sean Gilmore after a test flight in the L164

As of this afternoon we have rolled on another 14hrs since Saturday and YYB has performed flawlessly minus some ongoing oil consumption issues. Cruise is a steady and honest 95mph on floats and you can set the Franklin at 22 " for that all the way up to 7500. The range is pretty much 6 hrs and if it would be for nature calls one can really cover some distance. Cruise climb is best at about 80mph 25 " and it gives you between 5 – 600’ per minute.

Kurt is a friend from Switzerland and he was rather wondering what kind of plane this “BushCaddy” is!? Well, about 10hrs of flying later he turned from mocking home-builts to an absolute believer, shall I say true fan of the aircraft. We both are wondering how much fun this aircraft would be on skis!? May have to talk to Matthias about a change over here J .  Best regards, Willy T.
