BushCaddy delivers Fast Build and Pre-drilled kits

CONSTRUCTION

The quality control of the BUSH CADDY kit is strictly maintained by producing 100% of its products and parts in house and under close supervision. We use only Aviation Approved 2024-T3, 6061-T6 and 4130 steel. Specialty parts are pre- formed and welded.  Constructed with Advel pulled and solid rivets, this aircraft is one of the most robust and sturdy homebuilts flying today.

All of the major components  of the BushCaddy are pre-jigged to CNC machined jigs, and all pilot and critical holes are already drilled, the basic kit can be completed in 800 to 1000 hours.  Since 2003, major advances have been made to the basic kits which have become far more builder-friendly than ever.  An example are the fuselage bulkhead frames which now are delivered completely assembled and riveted. bulkhead frames1.jpg (93773 bytes) Pre-punched holes are ready for the insertion of the stringers.  The entire assembly will be ready for riveting in a couple of hours.
The horizontal and vertical stabilizers, elevators and rudders and now pre-jigged and the ribs have been pre cut with pilot holes ready.  All that is required of the builder is to match holes, cleco in place, and rivet.  Each of these components can be completed in less than an ho
ur, with no further cutting or fitting of the parts.jigged rudder.jpg (63405 bytes)pre-punched and jigged to CNC

The builder requires a 4 by 12 or14-foot table and hand tools to assemble the aircraft. No templates or jigs are required. Parts list and assembly plans are CAD generated, and are clear and easy to follow. Building assistance is always available on line or by telephoning us direct. You can count on us to help you in every way to have your BUSH CADDY built and flying in the shortest time possible.

Skins are not pre-punched.  This is a conscious decision, which allows CLASS Inc. to make minor changes to the basic design "on the fly".  Many of our customers have special requirements, and CLASS Inc. can respond to them without having to re-tool or re-program manufacturing machinery.  The BushCaddy is an "a la carte" kit, and we encourage ideas, minor modifications, and enjoy customizing the basic kit to fit the needs of our customers.
