September 13th, SECOND FLIGHT
Two people on board, half tanks (28 gallons), evening, outside temperature 18 degrees C. Take-off run 130 feet. Climb-out at 2700 RPM 1100 feet per minute. By the end of the 2500 foot runway we were already at circuit altitude and ready to turn cross wind. Cruise 146 MPH indicated at 2700 RPM flat out. Steep turn around a point - small left rudder input, 100 MPH, and still showing a 200 fpm climb in a steep turn. 10 degrees of flaps and 70 MPH gave us our 500 fpm rate of descent for landing. Short final at 60 MPH, and touch down with 10 degree of flap on all three points. Our airspace restrictions were only lifted this afternoon, so we have not been able to keep to our schedule, but more flights tomorrow.
